Privacy Policy for ClockOn

ClockOn is designed to keep your work data private and under your control.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you use the app.

1. Personal data

ClockOn does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as:

• your name
• your email address
• your contact details
• your billing information

All time records and account names you create are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to the developer.

2. Data stored on your device

All of the following remain local to your device:

• time entries
• account / client names
• weekly totals
• any other data you enter into the app

This data is not sent to any external server.

If you uninstall the app, this data may be removed by the Android system.

3. Data export

ClockOn allows you to export your time-tracking data as a CSV file for your own records or invoicing.

Exported files are generated locally on your device and may include time-tracking record elements such as:

• date
• start time
• duration
• account name

You control where the exported file is saved or shared. If you choose to send or store the file using another application or service (such as email, messaging apps, or cloud storage), that service will operate under its own privacy policy.

ClockOn itself does not transmit exported data to any external server.

4. Analytics and crash reporting

ClockOn uses Google Firebase Analytics and related Google services to understand how the app is used and to improve stability.

These services may automatically collect information such as:

• device type and model
• operating system version
• app version
• general usage events (for example, screens viewed or features used)
• crash reports and performance data

This information:

• does not include your time records or account names
• is not used to identify you personally
• is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policies

5. Data transmission

Other than the analytics and crash reporting described above, ClockOn does not transmit any data from your device.

Your time-tracking data remains stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

6. Permissions

ClockOn does not request access to sensitive personal data or device features.

7. How the information is used

Analytics data is used only to:

• understand which features are used
• improve usability
• fix crashes and performance issues

It is not used for advertising and is not sold to third parties.

8. Data security

Because your work data is stored locally:

• you remain in control of it
• you can remove it at any time by uninstalling the app

You are responsible for securing and backing up your device if required.

9. Future changes

If future versions of ClockOn introduce features that involve:

• cloud backup or sync
• accounts or login
• any additional data collection

this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.

Future versions may also expand reporting options, such as additional export formats or monthly summaries, but these will continue to operate using locally stored data unless otherwise stated.

ClockOn does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
